As a scholar of health, aging, and mortality, my work explores different dimensions about how morbidity and mortality vary according to geographic contexts; how life course exposures directly and indirectly drive health disparities through systems of inequality, with particular attention given to processes of selection and attrition, along with how different mechanisms have heterogeneous impacts on health outcomes.
